The Notorious Benedict Arnold: A True Story of Adventure, Heroism & Treachery - Steve Sheinkin

Arnold is still up in Canada defending the British off from getting down the American armies.  It failed due to gunpowder being exposed to lots of wetness.  So Arnold is now trying to meet up with another army official named Montgomery.  He liked what he saw Arnold doing and said,"he was active, intelligent, and enterprising. So Arnold and Montgomery formed a plan to wait till a stormy evening and charge the city walls of Quebec.

Arnold now is leading a group of militia men to Canada. Hoping to capture Fort TI for the Americans. During this expedition a lot of hard ship and treacherous things happened to the militia men. Some get really sick and ill, others are starving and parched, few of the men thought it was suicide to attempt such a journey.  So few of them turned right around and went back to where they had all come from.  A long the journey the supplies got dangerously low, they were getting ready to face a very harsh winter in Canada.

My book so far is mainly about how Benedict grew up. Like he attended private schooling but had to leave due to his father being poor. Also at first the Arnold last name was a wealthy an hearty last name till one family member ruined it by going way into debt. Sadly Benedict's father does the same to them by being a drunk. Arnold is more or so at this moment in the book trying to come up with an idea of how he will restore the family name. His final decision is join the military and fight against Great Britain.

Daniel Boone

Its 1779 now and Daniel was in the process of starting a new colony in "Kentucke."  Colony pissed off the Indians and the Indians were controlled by British and France which was using bribery to get the Indians to capture the settlers' settlements. British and France would give them face paint, guns and ammunition and much more. Eventually, war took place and the known "Kentuckins" held their ground for months then all was done for a little while til Daniel was sent to court on treason for leaving his fellow man.

Daniel Boone

Right now they started their own colony in kentucke (Kentucky). Starvetion is a big factor here. People are deserting very frequently. Then people are coming back very frequently.  They finally got laws and regulations. Hunting has run all the animals far away so now they have to go a very long ways to get food.

Book log #7 Daniel Boone

The long hunter: A new life of Daniel Boone - Lawrence Elliott

Daniel Boone is in the middle of the fighting between whites and natives. They wanted to buy Kentucky from the Indians. A fur company wants more land for trapping and hunting along with more frontier land for the imagrants. One mountain when off on his own and know one heard from him for a while and come to find out he was scalped and killed. More things a long those lines happened to the frontiers men.

Daniel Boone

In my story Daniel Boone is a man who suffers serious debts. He was always in court or cited to appear in court. He has traveled from Penn. To Tennessee, Virginia, all the way to Florida. Daniel is still known to out shoot and out wit any man who dare challenges thee. He normally leaves his family for an average of six months and returns sometimes with furs and riches, but sometimes he would return empty handed and nothing to show for his travels.

Daniel Boone

In this section Daniel Boone has moved all across the eastern part of the state. In search of new wonders, furs, land, mountains.  Daniel has now grown into a man, all his siblings are growing up, getting married, acquire lands. But Daniel still maintained his outdoor activities. He became interested in the Native American frontier problems and enlisted in the military. He heard a story of a white man trading a little black powder and a bullet for a beaver fur and was smashed in the head with his tomahawk and split his skull wide open. That has made lots of men enlist in the army.

Daniel Boone

In this entry its been a year or so and now Daniel Boone is born in 1720's. He is different from every one else in there little village of Pennsylvania. It was a Quaker town. He could chop more wood, he could out run anyone who dare challenge him. Daniel could shoot a rifle and bow an arrow better than any boy could of his age. He eventually learns how to repair rifles and traps, essential skill of the frontier. This book is different, it gives you a different view of how people were in Quaker villages and what was different to the Quakers.

Daniel Boone

This book is based on how a family man sends three of his five kids to the new world. Where a man was granted 28 million acres of land, By the King of England, which is Pennsylvania.  They write back to there father telling him how promising and fulfilling the new world is.  Father and the other two boys made it on the 8 week journey, but when he got to Penn. he realized the best land was already taken. So they went fifty miles farther into Pennsylvania. It is an interesting book, opens you up to what people had to do to get to the new world.

Livereating Johnson, Crow Killer

Jerimiah Johnson is the main character undergoing different struggles and hardships.  Right now he is getting supplies ready for his trip through the Rockies for trapping season.  He has under gone a lot of struggle with the Indians, from them stealing from him to him taking back what was stolen from him.  He makes best biscuits in all of the Rockies which attract Indians from afar and they steal them from him when hes of being busy.
